The EPA reports that 90% of the world’s fresh water supply is contaminated. You never know what’s in the water, it makes sense to always protect yourself with a quality water system. Ceramic filters have a micro porous structure with impregnated silver which delays the growth of bacteria. The pore size of ceramic filters is 0.0002 mm. Bacteria range in size from 0.0002 to 0.0005 mm and like protozoa (0.001 – 0.015 mm), are efficiently filtered out. Ceramic filters can be mechanically regenerated and the filter capacity is measurable.
